⚠️ Important Notes

  • Uninstallation must be done first on Slave servers, then on the Master.

  • Installation must be done first on the Master server, then on the Slaves.

  • Before upgrading, make sure to backup the Data folder — it contains your rules and settings and will be overwritten during setup.

Data Folder

1️: Backup the Data Folder

On the Master server, navigate to the installation directory:

📁 Backup the Data folder located here. This folder contains all your rules and signatures. During the upgrade, this folder will be overwritten, and if not backed up, you will lose your configurations.

2️: Uninstall NextClaimer on Slave Servers

On each Slave server, follow these steps:

a. Open Console UI

  • Go to Settings → Post Setup Management

  • Click ReDiscover Servers to fetch the server list

  • Select the current server

  • In the middle section, select the NextClaimer transport agent

  • On the right side, click UnInstall NC Agent

  • Confirm the uninstall message

  • Then click Restart MsTransport to complete the process

b. Uninstall the Application

  • Open Add or Remove Programs

  • Find NextClaimer, click Uninstall, and confirm

Repeat these steps for all Slave servers.

3️: Uninstall on Master Server

After uninstalling on all Slaves, repeat the same uninstallation process on the Master server.

4️: Install New Version on Master Server

  • Run the NextClaimer 1.2.5 setup on the Master server and complete the installation

  • Navigate to the installation directory:

  • Replace the newly created Data folder with the one you backed up earlier

🔁 You only need to restore the Data folder on the Master server. It will be automatically synced to the Slave servers.

  • Open Console UI → Go to Settings > Post Setup Management

  • Click ReDiscover Servers

  • Select the Master server

  • Click Install NC Agent on the right

  • Then click Restart MsTransport

5️: Install on Slave Servers

On each Slave server, follow these steps:

  • Run the NextClaimer 1.2.5 setup and complete the installation

  • Open Console UI → Go to Settings > Post Setup Management

  • Click ReDiscover Servers

  • Select the current server

  • Click Install NC Agent → then Restart MsTransport

6️: Configure Slave Settings

On each Slave server:

  • Go to Settings → then General Settings

  • Check the box Inherit from Master

  • Specify your Master server
